nuestra

misión

Berean's SOAR Program, launched in 2011, offers the first and only all-day, contained elementary classroom experience for struggling dyslexic students in Knoxville and East Tennessee. For students with dyslexia, learning success is fostered in small classrooms that integrate Orton-Gillingham reading instruction and multisensory teaching in all academic areas.  For those elementary students who do not need a fully immersive Orton-Gillingham classroom setting, we offer OG reading/language arts classes combined with the typical classroom setting. For our middle and high school students, we offer classroom accommodations and access to a fully staffed Learning Center on a daily basis.  We understand that students with language based learning challenges have unique academic needs; therefore, we tailor our school’s program to meet the various needs of these students. The SOAR Team teaches and supports grade-level curriculum in conjunction with traditional classroom expectations.

Hebrews 13:20-21
