Berean Preschool offers a program of academic excellence where spiritual growth is the foundation of our program. We serve children between the ages of three through four years of age. Each classroom focuses on the spiritual growth and academic growth for each child that is developmentally appropriate.

KALEY JACKSON
Lower Campus Assistant Principal PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR
Kaley is the lower campus assistant principal and preschool director. Kaley earned a master's degree from Tennessee Tech. University in Curriculum and Instruction and a bachelor's degree from Tennessee Tech. University in Elementary Education with a K-8 licensure. Kaley and her husband, Joseph, were married in 2015 and welcomed their first child, Clara, in 2021. Having taught in both the public and private school settings, Kaley has been at Berean for much of her teaching career.The Jacksons are big Tennessee fans who enjoy hiking, playing board games, and are actively involved at their church.
MEGAN DYER
When my husband Matt and I were praying about where to send our kids after homeschooling them for a year, we were answered with a definitive yes to send them to Berean. When we took our family tour, we sensed the love of God in all the faculty and staff and it felt like family. We immediately knew we had to enroll our 2 boys here. We now have all 4 of our kids Landon, Dalton, Jessa and Becca enrolled at Berean Christian. I was honored to help the preschool last year filling in for a maternity leave and was blessed to become part of the Berean staff full time this year. I have over 20 years of preschool experience and I am excited to continue that here at Berean Christian loving and teaching your preschool aged children.
STEPHANIE ADAMS
Stephanie has been on the SOAR team at Berean and has four prior years of experience in the classroom. Before teaching, she was a Family Development Specialist and Small Groups Coordinator for several counseling services in West Tennessee. Stephanie received her Biblical Studies degree from Christ for the Nations College and her Sociology degree from Dallas Baptist University. She and her husband Scottie have two children, Bella and Jonah.
CHERYL MCELHANEY
LEAD TEACHER

I attended college at U.T of Knoxville and received my B.S.and M.S degrees. I went to L.M.U. and received my Ed.S degree. I went to E.T.S.U. and received my degree to teach birth through four year olds.
I received my teaching ACSI certification and enjoy teaching in a Christian school.
I have taught in several Knox County schools and 2 Christian schools. I was saved at the age of 9. I love teaching children about Jesus and have taught children from the ages 3-10.
God and I have written and published a book to tell the world that God works miracles. The title is "Your Life Can Change in One Minute". I have 5 wonderful children and one granddaughter. Working with children is a blessing from God.
TRISTI WILEY
Tristi was born and raised in Knoxville Tennessee. She is married to Kevin and they have four children. Tristi is a medical assistant by trade and attended school in Nashville. She has been a preschool teacher at Berean since 2018. Tristi loves to travel (the beach is her happy place) and going on adventures with her family, reading, drinking coffee and cheering on the Vols. God led her family to Berean when their youngest started school. They knew immediately it was the place for them and never looked back.
