Jimmy Cannington
Jimmy has B.S. in Psychology from Georgia Southwestern College and a M.S. in Guidance from UT-Knoxville. Jimmy is currently the 6th grade school counselor at Bearden Middle School. Previously, he has worked as a teacher/school counselor at Berean Christian School and at Faith Academy in the Philippines. Jimmy and wife Vicki have been married since 1980, have three children and eight grandchildren, and are blessed to be attending Berean Bible Church."things have changed tremendously at BCS since Vicki and I took the entire 7th and 8th grade classes to Washington D.C. in a 15 passenger van. I look forward to seeing how God will continue to bless BCS in the future."

Cheryl Hickman
Cheryl has spent her entire career in the field of education. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, and Educational Specialist Degree, from the University of Tennessee. After 43.5 years as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and Director of Secondary Ed., she retired in 2019 from Knox Cty. Schools. Years later, Cheryl continues to work coaching principals and other administrators. As a member of the School Board for Berean Christian School all her experience in education will be put to good use. Having learned more about Berean since her grandchildren have been students here, Cheryl has come to truly appreciate the advantages of Christian schooling. Her goal is to be of service to the school, teachers, and students while serving as a board member.
Dan Davison
Dan served 5 years in the United States Coast Guard and then earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University. He has worked in many technical fields including aerospace, medical engineering, home appliances, and most recently, bio-fuel technology. On the side, he builds websites and does marketing and social media management for his company Propel Marketers. In his spare time, he loves to train at KMAA in jiu-jitsu, ride dirt bikes with his boys, and help Heidi with the bakery. He is an active member of Berean Bible Church and loves encouraging people in God's Word.

Heidi Davison
Heidi earned her Bachelor's Degree in English Linguistics from Cal State San Bernardino and then went into the Teaching Credential Program at Cal Poly Pomona. She worked in education for 10 years, including homeschooling her 3 children until 2020. Now all 3 kids attend Berean Christian School, one of which is in the SOAR program. Now Heidi owns and runs her own bakery called Heidi's Home Cooking. She and her husband are currently building a new bakery in Fountain City. When she isn't decorating cakes, she likes to lift weights, hike, and hang out with her chickens. She co-leads a women's Bible study on Wednesday nights at Berean Bible Church and loves hanging out with her church family.
Dan Coker
Hi, I’m Dan Coker. I am married to a wonderful lady, Jamie, and we have 7 kids, 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. I am a grad of Tennessee Tech with a BS Music Ed. and MA Ed from Tusculum. I taught band for 31 years; worked for a pharmacy for 16 years between Kroger and Methodist Medical in Oak Ridge; also taught evenings in Prof. Studies at UT.
I worked with children’s and youth choirs at Ridgeview Bapt., youth choir and adult choir at Arlington Bapt., and served interim music at several other churches. I love music and kids, praising my Lord, and volunteering with Knoxville Inner City Kids Outreach (KICKO)
Jon Farra
My name is Jon Farra. What a joy it is to see God's Word taught, families discipled and teams developed so that all can pursue their best before the Lord and each other.
I was hired at Berean as a middle school Bible and history teacher in 2005. I've been a teacher, principal, head of school and a pastor and have degrees in Bible, psychology and education. After college, I also had the opportunity to teach English overseas. I am married to a wonderful and Godly woman and we are blessed with six children. Running, reading, and real estate are all activities I enjoy. And like most matters, doing so with others can be a lot of fun.
